Established in 2019, the Cape Catfish play their home games on beautiful Capaha Field in downtown Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  

The Catfish play in the Prospect League, a collegiate wood bat summer league that boasts 20 franchises and is entering it's 64th season in 2027. The league has broken attendance records three straight summers and draws over 600,000 fans to its iconic ballparks!  The Catfish have broke attendance records every season since 2023 and drew over 25,000 fans last summer.

The Catfish just completed their 7th season in the Propsect League winning back to back titles.  They finished the regular season with a 45-10 record, smashing several long held league records including the most wins ever!

The Fish have won 3 Championships, 2021, 2025 and 2026 and have been in the playoffs 6 out of their 7 seasons.  Their 273 wins is the most of any team since 2019.
