Established in 2019, the Cape Catfish play their home games on beautiful Capaha Field in downtown Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  

The Catfish play in the Prospect League, a collegiate wood bat summer league that boasts 20 franchises and is entering it's 63rd season in 2026. The league has broken attendance records thre straight summers and draws over 600,000 fans to its iconic ballparks!

The Catfish just completed their 6th season in the Propsect League with another Championship.  The Fish have won 2 Championships, 2021 and 2025, and have been in the playoffs 5 out of 6 seasons.  Their 223 wins is second only to the Paints since joining in 2019.
